I love a happy ending

Next time I want to get stuff done on a weekend, I'll remember not to buy a Harry Potter book on a Friday. I passed by the used book store on my way home and they had The Prisoner of Azkaban for $3. I read about a quarter of it on Friday and couldn't put it down all morning. My goodness, I have never enjoyed a series so much, and I have to admit the ending had me tearing up a little :-D

Hey, were you still interested in getting those other HP books off Mike and I? I put them aside for you and they've been sitting there ever since!

Oh sure! I can pick them up later this month when we get together. I didn't hear back from you and I kind of forgot about it! LMK how much you want for them.

I didn't hear back from you, actually -- I think you wanted to check to see how much they were at the bookstore, and you said you'd write back. :)

I'm not sure how much to charge for them! They were $15-$25 each, originally, so...? Eep! But I will definitely keep them put aside for our get-together later this month.

Oh right, I never did check the hardcover, doh! Sorry...I forwarded you the email again because I thought Gmail might have eaten it, but I just realized it. If the paperback was $3, the hardcover is probably $5-7. LMK what you think is a fair price anyway!

Gosh, I don't know, I don't want to overcharge you. For all except the newest one, $7 would be fine with us. The newest one I might try to sell on eBay, since it's so recent. :)

Good luck selling it on eBay. I know the used bookstore will give you peanuts. They gave me a dollar for a giant Far Side Gallery book that was in really good shape last year and then they put $12 on it, grr! Thanks so much for keeping them for me!
