Snow!

It was looking like a brown Christmas until last night. It snowed and snowed and kept snowing until lunch time today. I'll post a picture of it tomorrow.

I'm so thankful we didn't have to go out today and surprisingly my groceries were delivered tonight. I would not have blamed Sunterra at all for cancelling.

The next door neighbour got stuck in the snow this morning as she was coming home from her night shift. I hope she'll be okay when she leaves later tonight.

Oh wow. Over here, we may never have a white Christmas again. Back when I was little, they did happen now and then. Not every year, but it was not uncommon.

Awww :-( I remember more defined seasons when I was a child too :\

We also get a warm winter wind here that comes over the mountains. It's called a chinook and melts snow *like that*. The sudden change in pressure is a literal headache for a lot of people.

It's worrisome, isn't it? Over here, we used to go ice skating and played with wooden sleds, and built snowmen... you don't see much of that anymore.
