Writer's Block: Bird by Bird

I think this question is poorly worded and too vague - are the birds pet birds, poultry or zoo animals? This question needs to be clarified before I'm going to spend too much time writing about it.

On the same tangent, substitute "bird" for "hamster", "fish", "iguana" or "dog" and I bet people's answers would be quite different.

Toys toys toys

I absolutely adore toys, particularly horse shaped ones, but for some reason a favourite childhood toy I haven't thought about for a while popped into my head and I spent some time Googling for it. I have no idea who made it, but it was a kitchen set that had a fridge, a sink and a stove with lots of miniature items to go with it (I love miniatures too! Wish I had room for Sylvanian Families :-)). This was just not any kitchen set though - the fridge was shaped like a bear (yellow/orange), the sink was shaped like an elephant (pink) and the stove was shaped like a lion (red/beige). I'm not making that up, I swear! I have no idea who would have made though. There has to be a forgotten toy forum somewhere...ah 80stoybox! EDIT: Perusing a site that has scanned in Sears Wishbooks, I did find another toy kitchen I had. Oh, the nostalgia!! :-)
