I know most people are not excited to get glasses, but I couldn't wait to go over to Costco and pick mine up. Holy crap!!! Everything is so clear! I can't believe it. Even though it isn't is a huge correction, I didn't think I saw everything that poorly.

Eee, isn't it so great?! You're never going to want to NOT wear them, now. :) My prescription isn't that strong, either (-1.75 or so) but I love seeing everything so clear and crisp!

I think glasses if worn correctly can make a person look more attractive but thats just me. ;)

Yeah i know the feeling, have steadily deteriorating eyes since my teenage years!
Its like "wow, I can see all the bricks!.....look at all the leaves! I forgot trees had so many leaves!...look how far away I can see numberplates!"

soon youll get used to them. and then forget them! and you`ll go out and be like "yaaa I cant see! look how fecking blurred it all is, how did I live like this!"

Hahah!! Totally :-) I could actually see the name on the street sign this morning in the dark :-) I feel like an ass - I wonder if this poor vision has affected my artwork all this time.

It was hard wearing them all day, but I'm so thrilled with it all.

Hee hee! They are slightly cats eye shaped. All I need is a hair bun and a sweater, and then I can go around shushing people like the library tech I was born to be ;-)

ypu really feel how you actually have a genuine and quite serious disability if you lose them fron now on. Id probably be hit by a bus if I went out without them. ...well ok not that bad at the very least Id step in dog shit.

The crispness is wonderful. I can see the dots of ink on the cards I printed out :-) It's amazing how something so small can have such a big impact. I wasn't squinting today at all either! It was hard to wear them all day, but I'm sure that will go away pretty soon.

It took me a week to get used to wearing glasses; they made me kind of ill for the first few days. Now it takes me two days to get used to new glasses, and I'm fine. Any discomfort will fade, promise. :)
