Super Sliders!

calzephyrLOL, without sounding like a total shill, if you have heavy furniture or are a little person like me with no upper body strength, you need Super Sliders! They are the bomb! One of our friends had them for his heavy poker table and I was so impressed that I bought a set. Super Sliders for carpet made moving my heavy desks a breeze. The previous owner of them loved quality furniture and I don't quite rightly remember how we got it downstairs :-D All I had to do was heft up each corner and that was it.
You do have to be careful to not use them on hard surfaces. I put a couple under a box to move it and unfortunately it stuck to the bottom. It scraped on the cement floor and is now considerably less slippery than it was before. Doh! But seriously, you won't go wrong. The next time I'm invited to a housewarming or a wedding, I'll bring a set :-D It will be the strangest gift ever, but definitely the handiest.
