Zombie LJs
Jul. 27th, 2019 06:22 amIf you still have an LJ, you may have been receiving a ton of notices that someone liked your post. When you check to see who liked your post, chances are good that it goes back to a zombie LJ, where the last entry was over ten years ago and the newest one is some kind of spammy link. LJ sent out an email yesterday to ask people to change their passwords.
If you have an old LJ kicking around, you may want to log in and change the password and maybe check your friends list for other zombie LJs. You don't know who you're giving your information way to!

Hmm... now I'm wondering. If my zombie blog likes someone will that be a new form of free advertising for me? (((shrug))) ^_^
