Thanks for the link! I didn't know the history of the slow-cooker, which is probably my most-used small appliance.

I had no idea it was such an "old" technology. I thought it was always a 70s thing.

I had an Instant Pot, but I sold it...I just could not feel the same love for it as my slow cookers :-)
