calzephyrHubs, who is an amateur radio operator, roped me into watching this gentle tale of a middle-aged amateur radio operator who enters a mid-life crisis after making contact with a yachtsman sailing solo around the world.
The tale is so gentle that the story lacks any tension, but it does have realism aplenty as the man's wife and son struggle with his growing obsession. It feels more like a slice of life of 1980s Britain.
