There will surely be a Christmas sale, which would be a good time to snag one. Even if you don't do the spit tube, you can still glean a lot of information from a trial account. It's pretty easy to use--you just add a few people and Ancestry does the rest. Of course, Dad's side of the family doesn't match anything at all.
