We watched Arachnophobia last night. I was a little too young to see it (or rather, didn't have a parent willing to go with me to see it) when it first came out. It's awesome! The parts where hubs was freaking in terror had me laughing. It had the right mix of everything - suspense, humour and horror. I loved it when the spiders swarmed the house, although if this happened in RL I would probably just freak out. I loved the goofiness of the ending too! Zip is sending us Ice Station Zebra next. This is the movie that Howard Hughes was supposed to have watched a lot in his last years.
I couldn't resist the DVD blowout at London Drugs and picked up a cheapo 70s crime thrilled called The Squeeze with Lee Van Cleef. It also stars Stacy Keach, but he doesn't get billing on the box. Also found a "film noir" collection with 18 movies on it from the 40s and 50s. They're all unrated and some titles have "questionable for children" on them. Eeek!
