Oh, the 80s
Jul. 26th, 2009 10:04 amYou know, out of all the 80s cartoons, I find very few to be re-watchable...or just plain watchable. I wish the Visionaries cartoon had more than 13 episodes - the animation was pretty standard, but it lacked cliched plots for the most part. It's pretty intelligent actually, and intentionally funny. This episode has a rather ahead of its time environmental aspect where activists square off with government. I don't really recall that happening until the 90s.
And speaking of all the 90s era mutant animal cartoons, it blows my mind that cows ride horses in Wild Cowboys of Moo Mesa. Man! Why couldn't someone come up with a cool line of mutant horses? I suppose they wouldn't have anything to ride though!
