Geek love is strong!
Jul. 29th, 2006 09:28 pmMy husband is not the type to buy me flowers, but he is the type to buy me new hard drives :-) He found a sweet deal on a 250GB drive, up from my current 40GB. Now I can install Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale, Morrowind, Neverwinter Nights and all my other games and stuff! I love you hun!

Date: 2006-07-30 09:01 am (UTC)I personally don't like to buy flowers unless they're potted plants. Seems like a waste of flowers to just cut them, and have them die like 2 days later.
I prefer to buy people something practical, and put some thought into it. Flowers may be a nice sentiment, but when they die, you're left with nothing. Might as well buy something they can use.

Date: 2006-07-30 02:30 pm (UTC)It's nicer to give a potted plant, for sure! I don't see the point of giving something that will die so quickly either. Bud once gave me roses and the next day they went wrinkly :P Oh! Chocolate roses are better than real roses too :-D

Date: 2006-07-30 12:36 pm (UTC)I'm still wandering around Morrowind. I think I have been playing this darn game for two years now! My comp isn't fast enough to play Oblivion, but I have seen friends play it. It is sweet! I love it when the grass blows :-) Maybe I'll end up getting an Xbox instead.

I haven't played Zoo Tycoon in some time. I can't find the original disc and there was no room to install it anyway on my last upgrade. I originally had a 120 GB drive, but somehow I ended up with 40 then.
