The Giant Head of John Lennon

While I was out and about downtown on Friday, I couldn't resist taking a picture of the giant mural of John Lennon's face on 6th Ave SW and 8th St. It used to be an ad for Q107, but they painted over the Q107 logo with...advertising that turned out to be really cheesy. In case you can't read it, it says "Imagine...your ad". It's still pretty cool despite the besmirching :-)

Oh it is nice and I imagine John would hate having an Ad on him though.....

Oh yeah...it wasn't so bad when the logo said Q107, because it's a classic rock station, but still...maybe someone didn't realize the connectionb between "imagine" and "Imagine". :-D
