EDIT: Whew! I'm glad I'm not the only one who expected tomato sauce :-D Yup, I got the seafood. We called back right away and were told that was what marinara was and they wouldn't substitute it, alas. I'm not allergic to seafood, but I really don't like it either :-D

If you order Linguine Marinara from a delivery menu, and the menu doesn't specify what is in it, would you expect to recieve...

A) Linguine noodles with a hearty tomato sauce?

OR

B) Linugine noodles with a thin sauce, shrimp, and bits of baby clams and oysters?

Very :-D I couldn't find the proper term that meant "with seafood" other than "Neptune". Maybe marine = marinara to them? :-D

:-D I don't know why I never developed a love for fishy things...pretty much any white fish and salmon are all that I'll try.

Marinara means tomato sauce, but I'm guessing you ended up with the seafood?

Yeah, I dug right in and it tasted funny! I thought, OK, they goofed, I can just pick the shrimp out...but then I noticed the funny little things were a little too green-blue to be mushrooms :-P

if I got B, that's good for me but not so good for the various allergic to seafood relatives.

Yes, that's what I was thinking...I'm not allergic thankfully, but I'm going to call them back today and suggest they put that on their future menus. I just plain don't like seafood :-D
