The Simpsons Movie

calzephyrAhhhh we finally saw this at the cheapie theatre and we loved it. I used to be a hardcore Simpsons fan until about Season 12, when they lost me, and after seeing the quality of colour, it would be almost preferable if they quit the weekly series and came out with a movie every year or two. I really think the serives has more franchise fatigue than Star Trek ;-) There's just so much more that they can do with more time and on film.
It was also good to see the trailer finally making sense. I love how Plopper was animated, he was pretty cute for a cartoon pig, and that Lisa found a soul mate. Oh and the Cinderella inspired scene where all the animals come to disrobe Marge and Homer, ha! I thought they could have done more with the thousands of secondary characters though. I can't remember seeing Patty and Selma at all.
