When it comes to movies, we're a little slow on the uptake...mostly because it's $13 to see a movie here and there's no matinee prices anymore. Fortunately we have friends like my co-worker who got some dupes for Christmas and gave us Lady in the Water and The Village. We watched Lady in the Water tonight and I liked it, although hubs found it slow, which I think was the point. I had heard this one was a turkey, so I was surprised that I did like it...I think I found it funnier than it was supposed to be. The only thing I didn't really like is that narf and scrunt are the worst names for fantasy monsters. C'mon! Narf? That's what Pinky does! :-D
