Carcassone

Here's another game that Timban and Wolf really like, and there's really quite a lot of strategy involved as well as luck. Carcassone is kind of like a picturesque dominoes - it comes with a set of tiles that have matching ends and players pick from random piles. For example, certain road, field and castle pieces will match up. It was a little tricky to understand the scoring, and as well you want to not give your opponents too much advantage. I haven't played with the expansion, Inns and Cathedrels, yet. I'm tickled that they made this expansion, as the tourist trade would not exist without the European cathedral pilgrimage of yore. Yup, restaurants, inns, even souvenirs, sprang up to service the faithful :-)
