We have been having absolutely terrible weather this week and I felt so sorry for Mama Robin sitting on the nest in all the wind and rain.

I saw a starling feeding a few babies in a nest above a sign earlier this week. Then I realized that what I thought was a branch branch hanging down out of the nest was actually the body of another baby that hadn't made it quite as far along in its growth... :-\ Nature can be brutal.

Oh wow...what a thing to see. There were some parts of "The Life of Birds" that were so hard to watch.

The baby robins seem to have left the nest already. I didn't realize they matured so quickly!
