I so admire writers of old radio shows, particularly old eps of X-Minus One and Dimension X. In one half hour they make a better story than most TV shows that go on for five years :-) This story called Lulungameena manages to not date itself too much - it's big on character and not technobabble.

I love OTR! X-Minus One was my introduction to OTR as it often played late at night on a local radio station before Art Bell :-) There is an OTR community on LiveJournal, but I seem to be the only contributor. It's http://old-time-radio.livejournal.com/

Wow! Art Bell too? That was one of the first things I did when we finally got decent internet access, tracking down all the old Ghost-To-Ghost shows from his Halloween nights. (Sometimes I had to edit out the commercials.) Then I just had those on repeat all the time. I eventually learned of the marvels in mp3 tech.

Gosh, I haven't been on LJ in a while. I'd started going back but then I heard of DW and I saw there were no "happy buttons" and felt more at peace here. Thanks for responding!
