80's! I wish! It's funny how heat truly is relative. I can only smile as you complain that 80's are hot. The weather has been in the high 90's and occassionally over 100 for weeks now. I look forward to the 80's to cool off! LOL! Of course, we also have air conditioning, so it's easy to escape from it.

Actually, I'm really looking forward to this winter. It'll be my first winter without ice or snow since 2000. It's going to be refreshing to be able to take long walks without having to worry about slipping and cracking my skull on an icy sidewalk.

Yes, the same goes for cold as well :-) I was so wilty in Kentucky, I had never experienced 112 (or was it 120?? on the tarmac at Churchill Downs no less). I hope you do enjoy your 80s when it arrives!
