And what to do with them? I can try making turnip fries or "Mom's turnips", which calls for brown sugar, a pound of bacon and bacon fat. I'm sure with enough sugar and fat, anything can be good!

Hmmm! You know, I had almost forgotten about the time honoured tradition of the potato cannon. Some hairspray and PVC tubing, and I'd be all set to blast some turnips at the neighbours.
