Spore

I finally installed the creature creator for Spore - here's my first critter - the Moxious. After watching Wolf play for a couple of hours I definitely want it - but it'll have to wait until after Christmas, lest it suck up my time too much!

In other gaming news, I spotted Let's Ride: Friends Forever at Staples. I passed! I can think of better things to spend $20 on than another crappy horse game :-)

You may want to be careful using Spore's online community thing. I don't know if it was changed (but I've not heard that it was), but the Creature Creator at least used to embed information about your Windows username in the images of the critter that you upload. (Which is the main reason I took Spore off my to-buy list.)

Dont buy it, there is NO game play whatsoever. the creator is the only fun part and about 90% of the game. We wasted our money on this and played it for one weekend.

Aw! That's too bad you didn't like it. I could see how it could get boring quickly. I tend to wait a long while before buying games anyway, so there'll probably be a bundle pack by the time I get around to it.
