saw a family of Canada geese this morning down by the river. Just one of many pictures I took. They all need a fair bit of editing since I took them from a bridge and the sun was rising from the east - I have some dreaded purple fringing. If only they had been on the west side of the bridge :-) Nature doesn't take art direction very well.
At least I had my camera!

That's one of the reasons I like to always have my camera with me; You just never know when the perfect photo-op is going to come along (such as this picture of Donna running through the snow!)

I love my old Olympus camera, but I really want to get one with more resolution, and more than 3x zoom. I'm looking at the Canon Rebel SLR series, and pondering how much I can afford to spend. :)

Oh yes! I was trying to remember what horse was in your picture there. The best time to take a picture of anything always seems to be when you don't have a camera :-P

Thanks for the compliment - there's a bunch more but I think this one has the best composition. The sun just lit them up! It was taken with a Canon PowerShot. Some people don't like the digital Rebels, but buying a camera is like a car sometimes - everyone has their favourite make and model :-)
