My friend Wolf and I saw Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker in regularvision last night and it was an all right movie. I'm not the world's biggest SW fan, but there was some relief in not having to avoid spoilers anymore!
The movie had a lot of surprises and a few expectations. It was jam packed with action and explosions and was pretty entertaining. It was also very long and dense. It would have been preferable for it to be split into two movies so that some of the storylines and places could be stretched out. The movie moves at such a frenetic pace without any restful places that I was wishing for it to end. I think the previous two movies in Rey's storyline were preferable.
