My fancy new toothbrush

I bought a fancy new Sonicare toothbrush last week. My dentist had the same model for $265, but, lucky me, it was on sale at the drugstore for $225. For that price, it better do a good job 😄

My old electric toothbrush, a humble Braun, has been gathering dust because it can’t hold a charge very well. The new toothbrush has a life of two weeks on a full charge. I'm quite pleased with the overall design, such as the cover for the head and the charger. The set came with a glass that can sit on the charger as well.

The app is easy to use, although my first time was hilarious. I used too much toothpaste, which flew everywhere! Then, when I paused to laugh, the app helpfully encouraged me to “Don’t give up!”. It leads you through a two minute brushing guide.

I’m finding the brushing overall intense, so I will probably manually brush every second day.

Golly! Loved the "Don't give up!" bit, though. Tools with words of encouragement. And sounds like it knew when to use them. ^_^

It's surprisingly high tech! It can even tell you if you're scrubbing too hard.

That's good to find out, too. I keep thinking of getting a water pick but I know next to nothing about those.
