calzephyr: Scott Pilgrim generator (approved!)
I finally ventured into the scrapbooking store near our house, and really, such a place might as well eschew its cutesy name for "Male Strippers and Blow" because that's really what such places are. Part of me feels that scrapbooking is a big scam to sell women organizational systems, but now and then something neat and actually useful comes along such as The Enveloper. I already had a ProvoCraft Coluzzle envelope template in my hand when I saw this intriguing piece of purple plastic called The Enveloper. It promised to make any piece of paper into many more sizes of envelopes than the Coluzzle, so I put that back.

One of the things I would like to make is square cards, but of course, finding square sized envelopes is a challenge. My old inkjet had a better way of feeding specialty paper too - the new one crunches envelopes, so this way I can print my own matching envelopes. I made some practice envelopes this morning and I'm very impressed. Even hubs, who often misprounces "crafts" as "crap" made a few practice envelopes.

I went back today for the Top Score board, which takes the guesswork out of folding cards and lo and behold, today is National Scrapbooking Day, so I ended up with some more paper...which I need about as much as more beads, paint, pastels and a hole in the head :-)
