One of the things I love about organic food stores is that they often have things you wouldn't find anywhere else, whether it's canned Indian food or veggie pate. My last trip to such a store netted me much fair trade chocolate and a bottle of sauerkraut juice. Yup. It was so out there that I was sure my husband would love it - he who drinks many of the exotically stranger juices from the Asian supermarket. I just can't get up enough enthusiasm for aloe vera juice.
But no, he was repulsed! He made a face like a baby and shook his head as he put the glass down. I, on the other hand, like it well enough, but probably wouldn't buy it again. It only has two ingredients - white cabbage and sea salt. One really can't taste the cabbage at all, just the salt. Part of me is impressed that they were able to get juice out of a cabbage actually! No pun is intended by the way with the Lt. Gruber userpic - the expression just fits perfectly.
